Bosch Rexroth in Mellansel develops, produces and supplies hydraulic drive systems and services under the Hägglunds brand. The products are well known for being reliable, strong and of outstanding quality.
Bosch Rexroth in Mellansel is the head office and lead production site for one of Bosch Rexroth's nine business units. Hägglunds hydraulic drive system was born here for more than 50 years ago. Today, all functions are housed in Mellansel, from R&D and production to sales and aftermarket. We also have a global sales and service team spread in the wide world.
The customers of Hägglunds drive systems and services are, among others within the areas of recycling, mining, sugar, plastics and oil industries. The business unit has 600 employees around the world. The head office in Mellansel has about 360 employees.
Publiceringsdatum2021-10-30Beskrivning av jobbetWe are looking for you, who want to be part of taking the world's most advanced hydraulic drive system to the next level, and right now we need a Design Engineer for the Hydraulic Drive Units. We are looking for you who want to work as a Designer at our head plant in Mellansel to develop our Hydraulic Drive Units.
The Drive Unit (hydraulic power unit) including the control system together with our hydraulic motors constitutes the hydraulic drive system that we deliver to customers all over the world. Customers who place the highest demands on performance and quality. With the trend towards Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, our products are becoming more sophisticated and connected.
As a Design Engineer, you, along with other functions, are involved in the entire process, from order received to delivery of finished product. In consultation with our sales companies around the world, you work to find an optimal technical solution based on the customer's wishes and requirements. Customer focus and flexibility are important success factors for being a Design Engineer within our Design team. The collaboration with other departments is close and can lead to exciting and challenging tasks in the development of new standard solutions.
Kravspecifikation
We are looking for you who have knowledge in mechanical design and interest in hydraulic. We believe you have a university degree in engineering or equivalent. Several years of experience is not most important for us in this position, the important things are that you are driven, ambitious and that you have technical skills within mechanical design. Your personal qualities are also essential for us.
In this role, you will have many internal and external contacts and it is therefore important that you are communicative and have good cooperative skills. Business trips to our sales companies and customers all over the world can be required, therefore that should not be a problem for you.
You will be part of a team of Design Engineers but will often work independently, so you need to be comfortable both working in teams and individually. We appreciate if you are curious about new technology, thorough in the work you do and have a sense of details.
Experience of working with hydraulic system and mechanical design can be advantage. The position requires good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
