CEVT is an innovation centre for the future cars of the Geely Group with the purpose of being at the forefront of new developments in the automotive industry. Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

The Mechanical Propulsion System unit at CEVT is responsible for the development of new global transmissions from the early concept phase to industrialization. These transmissions will be the main technology for the Geely group. The development is carried out by several parties inside Geely group as well as by external contractors.

Within this unit the "Rotating and Structural Parts" team is responsible for a subset of the mechanical components transmission system, such as brackets, fasteners, housings, seals, bearings, gears, shafts and differential, and we now look for a curious team player to join our group.

As design engineer within the "Rotating and Structural Parts" team, you will be responsible to develop components according to system requirements. You will carry on the design from concept decision, through releases, testing and industrialization of the solution.

Responsibilities and tasks

* Packaging studies of internal and external components and interfaces
* Stack up calculations
* Create, publish and release 3D models and drawings according to automotivestandards
* Be able to define inputs and outputs for the relevant task
* Making concepts for integration and fixation of components and design
* Present work for project team members

Job Requirements

* Documented skills in designing and maintaining stable and flexible 3D models
* Experience in designing for Al sand and die castings
* Extensive experience from integrating elements in an automotive environment with all aspects such as NVH, durability, fatigue and corrosion
* Experience from mass production in relevant manufacturing processes
* Fluent in English
* Experienced in CREO including good knowledge casting design
* Experience from relevant process in automotive such as DFMEA, DFA/DFM, PPAP, APQP etc..
