Design Engineer Exhaust system Propulsion Energy System
The group Exhaust System is a part of Propulsion Energy System. We work with the vehicle mounted exhaust system working primarily with NVH and Pressure drop properties of the system. We work in close cooperation with our suppliers and different car and engine projects. We deliver complete system to new car projects and to current running production.
What's in it for you?
As Design Engineer you will be working in the industrialization phase of the project up until production start, and design different components to reach the technical objectives and secure the deliveries within the given time. The work will be carried out together with a team consisting of other design engineers, test engineers and CAE engineers. The role require close contact with other areas within R&D and our suppliers. You will be reporting directly to the Design Leaders, and your Group Manager. In this role you will be given the possibility to improve and deepen your technical knowledge of the system area and the chance to build new network within our company.
What you'll do
Understanding properties (such as Car factory process, Supplier process, Durability, NVH, Perceived quality) of the exhaust system to be able Model them in Catia and Teamcenter.
Releasing and making drawings.
Ensuring that the exhaust system design at the packaging meeting with other technical areas and the block leader.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a technical education, preferably a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 3 years experience in product development with good knowledge and experience in CATIA V5
You are fluent in English, written and spoken is a requirement.
Do you have Technical knowledge of the exhaust system and experience with Teamcenter is an big advantage.
You will make the concept and tools 3D models to meet the attributes and requirements in Catia V5 and documents in Teamcenter (PLM)
