As an Order Designer in After Sales, you will be responsible for producing customer and production documentation for our delivery projects. In close collaboration with the order department and with production, you are part of transforming customer requirements to products. You will work in a 3D CAD environment, as well as in ERP-LN.
Your tasks will include designing all types of orders in After Sales, both old and new breaker types, both electrical and mechanical design, investigating old orders, understanding customer needs and designs and communicating those to the rest of the organization.
Today we are in an expansive phase with high potential in the market. We want you to help us develop our new processes and products. Since no two orders are the same, at After Sales, we face new challenges daily and you will constantly be presented with new learning opportunities.
To be successful in this position, you have a firm technical foundation. This can come from a Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or two-years of higher technical education, combined with design experience. Because much of the work will be done in ERP-LN and PTC's CAD programs, as well as in PTC's PDM systems in the future, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of these systems. In our ideal candidate, we also wish to see knowledge of how the product structure is built and experience from working with preparation in the ERP system.
As you will work on an international market, as well as in close collaboration with your local colleagues, excellent knowledge of English and Swedish is required. You are a proficient computer user and insights into programs such as 3D-CAD are advantageous. As a person, you are thorough, structured, quality-conscious and driven, with a genuine technical interest. Moreover, you consider yourself a problem solver who likes to improve and develop. You have a sense of responsibility and work well on your own, but are also easy to collaborate with and communicate with your group.
You will be part of High Voltage Service, a business unit within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. High Voltage Service has a worldwide ABB responsibility for after sales and service of high voltage products, with high voltage breakers as main driver. The markets are found both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. We have recently relocated to a bigger and more improved facility and are now looking for personnel to join us on our expansion journey.
