This is us, your new colleagues
Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develop articulated haulers and wheel loaders. We do everything from product planning, development, sales and marketing to purchasing, manufacturing and assembly of the complete machine. Now we need to strengthen our team and we are looking for design engineers who have the drive and passion to contribute to great teamwork and excellent innovations to meet future business challenges.

Our work climate is open and supportive and we put much emphasis on a good work environment and collaboration both within departments as well as cross-functionally. Today our team consist of engineers working close together with production, purchasing, suppliers and aftermarket.
The Technology Improvement department is responsible for product maintenance and feature development projects on load carrying structures such as frames, body and bearings as well as on exterior parts including plastic and sheet metal parts in engine hoods, fenders, tanks etc. Working as a design engineer, you will also get the opportunity to take on leading roles in our projects.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge or experience:
• M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Great communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
If you have knowledge or experience from one of the following fields, we consider it a plus but keep in mind, the right attitude and a willingness to learn is key:
• Off-road machinery / Heavy trucks
• Heavy weldments, castings, bearings
• Sheet metal design
• Plastics design
