Who you are
Be part of the team as we expand the limits within separation technology. Alfa Laval invest on research and development in the field of separation technology with increased focus on advanced computer simulation methods like FEM, CFD and Topology Optimization. Connectivity and digitalisation is on the agenda, implementing e.g. various sensor technologies and software algorithms in the products. We are looking for experienced engineers who can help us to do even better than we do today. We hope that you are one of the people we are looking for!
We wish to recruit a Design Engineer to be a part of our Project team. You will be involved in new product development, improvement projects, investigations and upgrades. You will be a part of the Project team and work in close cooperation with the Project Managers and technical product manager in the department to support both internal and external customers.
Who are you?You work well in project environment and is a good team-player with good skills in handling many different levels of tasks. You should have the ability to move with ease from finishing small one hour's jobs of changes to follow a bigger design changes.
What you knowYou have a University degree, minimum Bachelor level, in Mechanical Engineering. You have some years of relevant design experience. The most important design tools will be 3D-CAD (Creo). Experience within various manufacturing techniques and preferably in metal cutting and casting is of great value.
