We currently have the following job opening;
Design Engineer - Fault Tracing Powertrain Control
The powertrain controls and calibration module team delivers complete control system solutions for new upcoming vehicles, including electrified variants. This is an exciting mission where you will play an important role in building up the operations. Your responsibility will be to secure powertrain software functionality in rigs and test vehicles.
The module team consists of 4 different areas, i.e. project, hardware, software and calibration for the complete powertrain. You will be placed in the calibration area, but work in a cross-functional team with colleagues in Sweden and China.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Responsible for powertrain software functionality in test rigs and vehicles in close cooperation with other units and suppliers
• Trace root cause and solve problems with the powertrain software
• Evaluate software function descriptions and analyse electric schematic diagrams
• Run tests in desktop, HIL and vehicle environment
• Responsible for tools and equipment used for measurement, calibration, diagnostics and software download
Requirements
• Engineering degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level
• 5 years’ experience from the automotive software domain
• Excellent ability to take own initiatives and cooperate with other units in Sweden and China
• Good knowledge about the vehicle electrical system
• Good knowledge about measurement, diagnostics and calibration tools such as INCA and CANalyzer
• Quick and efficient in problem resolving
• Fluent in English
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
• Car driving license
• Ability to travel
