We are the team within Scania Bus Development that are responsible for developing air inlet and exhaust systems. We are also responsible for battery installation in electrical buses and powertrain suspension for different gearboxes and engine types such as electrical engines and combustion engines.

Your assignment
Since the performance of the air inlet system is crucial for the overall performance of the engine, your everyday work will include questions minimizing the environmental impact of our vehicles and improving the performance for our customers.
You will primarily work with design of the air inlet system which involves close cooperation with other design engineers such as engineers performing simulations and tests as well as other functions such as production, purchase and other R&D departments.
Since the group have responsibilities and competence within several areas you will be able to get profound support in your profession and also be able to contribute with your expertise in a wide range of technical challenges.
Your profile
You are a graduate engineer with a master or bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Experience within mechanical engineering is valued, especially within the area of powertrain installation.
As a person you are positive, committed and you get motivated by finding solutions to problems. We value your analytical skills and since the work requires a cross functional way of working you have good collaborative and communication skills.
