The gear shifting team is seeking a skilled and experienced Design and Component Responsible Engineer to join in the pursuit of excellence in make-to-print component manufacturing!
About the positon
As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions while adhering to specified requirements such as function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality targets, and regulations within the mechanical domain. You will play a key role in leading and supporting mechanical design engineering activities within your designated area, ensuring the seamless integration of various deliverables. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of product and system roadmaps, actively participate in business development and innovation, and foster relationships with academic institutions and external bodies for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Your ability to leverage networking opportunities across the organization will be critical in providing valuable inputs for project prerequisites, drawing on your comprehensive understanding of component history.
Main responsibilities:
• Utilize CREO for mechanical design tasks
• Generate detailed drawings and define precise tolerances
• Conduct thorough stack-up calculations
• Engage in comprehensive technical discussions with make-to-print suppliers
• Contribute to general project work and provide valuable insights
About you
• Bachelors or higher degree in Mechanical engineering or equal work experiences
• Minimum five years experience from working with similar tasks and responsibilities
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Proficient in English language
