Your future challenge
Chief Engineer Saab 340 is responsible for design and technical solutions on primary Saab 340. The deputy must be capable to replace the CE in all areas. To have knowledge in some or all system included in different special mission application is desired.
Chief Engineer 340 manages and coordinates the development from a proposal to change all the way to make a new variant of the product. He/she is also responsible for continued airworthiness and to handle airworthiness authorities together with Quality and Airworthiness Office.
Todays demands
You have long experience in design work of aircraft or other aeronautic products and in all phases from conceptual to final design and in-service use.
In-depth knowledge in one technical area and an interest to develop in other technical areas is necessary. You need to be able to compare different solutions and analyze, decide and defend a chosen design. You must have knowledge of the Saab 340 and/or Saab 2000.
