Overview
An exciting and challenging opportunity awaits you who want to contribute with your leadership expertise, energy and creativity as we are looking for a Department Manager in Falkenberg. You will have approx. 18 employees reporting to you. You will drive and participant in result development and machine effectivity within your area to reach the goals within security, quality and production. You will coach your RST and your team members and also collaborate with the other Department Managers so you together will reach the goals for the factory. You will be a part of Management team for production and report directly to Unit Manager in Falkenberg.
The factory in Falkenberg has around 400 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe.

About the role
As a Department Manager, you are a role model for safety. Responsible for development of the organizational capability to get the expected results and provide leadership, direction setting and coaching for the team. You are responsible for the application (and development if needed) of systems and standards (work instructions, procedures for safety, quality, Maintenance, HMEx Best Practice etc.) You develop department objectives aligned with site and unit's needs and cascade Essity goals to the department members. You ensure that the department delivers required production orders in time and on cost. You are also accountable for the department's operational budget and to identify CAPEX needs to support midterm plans.
Responsible for safety rules at Essity and making sure your employees follow these rules
Make sure volume is secured by collaboration with logistics and correct input in S&OP-file
Responsible for work instructions, routines and quality
Act as a role model when it comes to policy's, rules and Essity's way of securing world class production quality
Analyze results from weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports form production
Coach and collaborate with team and other departments
Who You Are
To be successful in this position you need to have great technology understanding and experience from manufacturing. You need to have a holistic perspective and be a good leader who can motivate, collaborate and communicate very well with your team members. You are a driven and inspiring person who have the talent to share new solutions in the way many can understand and follow. You embrace changes and change management.
We also see that you have:
University degree within Engineering or equal experience from working in production
Fluent in Swedish and English - both oral and written
Minimum 3 years working experience within a similar role, experience from production is a must
Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office
Leadership experience
TPM experience are very good to have
