Last but not least, Group IT deliver a range of IT services to the bank, including development and maintenance.
About the job Swedbank is today a major player in the physical retail business, where we are the leading actor in the Nordic and Baltic countries thanks to our acquiring product. At the same time we face increased competition and have therefore decided to develop integrated commerce offering. A Commerce unit will be established in Group Lending & Payments which will be focused on both development and delivery of a comprehensive commerce offering to this important customer segment.

Group Products IT, Within Group IT is now looking for a Department Manager to our new Department, Commerce.
As a Department Manager your main responsibility is to deliver high quality and cost-efficient development and maintenance of IT solutions.
Your first priority will be to establish the GPIT Commerce Department to recruit team members and establish a stable team who can both develop and maintain our new Commerce offering applications. You would also need to establish good relations with our vendors, business partners and continuously improve ways of working.
This means that you will be responsible for:
Staff in a team of highly skilled people
Delivering IT development and stable services as agreed with business counterpart
Driving and supporting our Agile journey
Continuing and developing the close co-operation with our business partners
Coaching the team and securing that we have the competence needed to deliver projects and maintenance in short and long term
What you need to succeed Good experience of responsibility for staff and cost management
Delivery management of development as well as operation and maintenance
Experience of complex integration solutions
Experience of leading international cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills
Ability to communicate to different audience.
Good networking skills
Strong focus on result
