To our Nordic Head Office, we are recruiting a Demand Planner to join our Nordic Supply Chain team, reporting to the Nordic Supply Chain Manager. Our office is currently located in Liljeholmen, but in June we will move to Skanstull, into newly renovated premises reflecting us and our brand.

As the Demand planner at Michelin your main function will be to ensure the performance of the forecast process for all our product lines (Passenger car tires, Truck and Bus tires, Earthmover tires and Agricultural tires). This includes putting in place actions which are necessary for the Supply Chain processes to function well and also to collect and analyze information in order to alert, anticipate or respond to questions from local correspondents. Actions involve identifying and analyze differences between forecast and Sales, ensure that all activities required for the sharing of information are carried out, contribute to the effective management of stock quality.

In this role, you will work in close cooperation with Marketing & Sales, you will regularly exchange with the central forecast team in France and our regional team in Germany, and you will be a key player for the Supply Chain process, working in line with the local Supply Chain Coordinator.

Your main focus areas will be;

• Forecast Quality - you will be responsible for maintaining the best information quality when it comes to all the data necessary to build the forecast, and will be judged on the forecast quality.
• Cooperation with marketing & sales - you will be asked to understand the business (market, seasonality, campaigns, distribution strategy etc.) and to organize an efficient cooperation with Marketing & Sales to build and continuously challenge the forecast scenario.
• Cooperation with the central team - you will be responsible for cooperation and for challenging our colleagues in Germany and France to ensure a good forecast mix for our market growth.

We are looking for someone with a degree within Industrial Engineering and Management or Economics/ Business Administration, and/or experience from a similar role. We are happy to work with someone in the beginning of their career, as long as you show motivation and willingness to learn. You should be able to demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills, enjoy working with figures, and an advanced user of Excel. You need to be fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage but not a must. You should enjoy working in collaboration, being service minded and solution oriented. The position is full-time starting as soon as possible.
