As Demand Planner you are responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. In this role, you are responsible for creating and maintaining forecast models for customers; incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources. The Demand Planner is the integration point into our sales and commercial organization and leads the dialogue each month between customers and key counterparts in sales and marketing.
To be successful as a Demand Planner at Fingerprints, we expect that you have some 3-5 years of professional experience from sales controlling, demand planning or sales forecasting. You need to have excellent skills in English, both written and verbal. We also expect that you have proficient skills in CRM and ERP tools as well as proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
The Supply Chain Planner manages the overall supply chain scope, from demand forecasting to goods delivery for appointed products. This includes securing capacity for minimum 12 months out, creating and sending out purchase orders to suppliers and following up upon delivery schedules and making sure the goods are delivered out to the customers as first committed. The planner needs to have full control of what is started in production and what is in stock, to be able to respond to changes in demand.
For the role as Supply Chain Planner we are looking for a person with SCM experience from the manufacturing industry (within electronics or other high-volume business). We believe you have a deep understanding of SCM-tools and supply chain processes, as well as cost controlling experience relating to production. Good knowledge and understanding of the accounting connection to the supply chain, as well as advanced statistical analyzing abilities are essential to succeed in this role.
