hela Sverige Brightby is now recruiting a curious and driven Demand Planner on behalf of our client Ferrero Scandinavia, to their office in central Malmoe. This is a position for you as a consultant or junior controller with a few years of experience, ready to grow, and willing to challenge yourself in order to succeed. At Ferrero Scandinavia the role as Demand Planner is a new position which means that you will have a large part in the shaping and development of the role.
Ferrero is a global company privately owned by the Ferrero family. The company has grown from a small Italian confectionery shop in 1942 (which was officially founded in 1946) creating appealing products from local hazelnuts in its home town Alba to become the fourth largest confectionery manufacturer in the world.
Ferrero has approximately 34,000 collaborators, 73 consolidated subsidiaries, including 20 production plants around the world, of which 3 are Ferrero Social Enterprises in Africa and Asia, and 8 agricultural companies in Chile, Argentina, Georgia, South Africa, Australia, Bulgaria, Italy and Turkey.
This recruitment process is handled by Brightby and the employment will be managed directly by Ferrero Scandinavia.
Job duties
As a Demand Planner at Ferrero you will provide support to the business to minimize risk of out of stock and products returns. You will work close to both the sales department and logistics and be responsible for sales forecasts and sales monitoring.
Your main work tasks will include:
• Collect and analyze sales forecasts
• Identify anomalous trends and discuss them with the sales team
• Weekly updates of sales forecast and sharing it with Marketing and Operating Supply in order to ensure product availability
• Monitoring, analyzing and identifying the best market option in terms of market coverage, distribution cost, product freshness, service level to customer, risk of out of stock and risk of product returns
• Monitoring actual sales
• Evaluates potential commercial opportunities
Experience
To be a suitable candidate for this position you have at least a bachelor degree in finance and you have approximately 3 years of experience from similar tasks as a consultant or as eg. Audit Assistant from one of ?the big 4? companies within Audit Services. You are a highly proficient user of Excel and are used to working in different ERP-systems. Previous experience from working with AC Nielsen is preferred but not a requirement for the position. Since Ferrero Scandinavia is an international organization you need excellent skills in English, both oral and written. Swedish and/or Danish is preferred but not required.
As a person you have a strong business focus with the ability to understand business needs and to communicate with representatives from both inside and outside the organization. You are curious by nature and have a passion for analyses and numbers. You appreciate to work in a changing business, in a dynamic environment and we believe that you are brave, open-minded and have a strong sense of responsibility.
