MultiMind is looking for a Demand Planner to a successful international company within the consumer goods industry. The company is American and operates worldwide. You will be working on their Nordic headquarters in Stockholm. This assignment runs from March to September.
As a Demand Planner you will have the overall responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the Demand Planning Volume and Master data necessary forecast. You will also be working with other flows and making sure processes run as problem free as possible.
Your task also includes to create a valid statistic forecast and carefully analyze historical data for validity to be able to find and defend the use of an appropriate statistical model. You also create the final forecast and pipeline estimates for new products and build appropriate building blocks based on the assumptions collected and agreed upon. You will also gain consensus to the forecast with the business team via meetings and monitor the accuracy of the forecast and continually improve the quality.
We are looking for someone with relevant education for the role, such as an MBA or equivalent, preferably with specialization logistics or marketing. You have previous experience in planning and forecasting. You are comfortable with numbers, systems and have experience in organizing and analyzing data. To focus on details when needed while also seeing the big picture is not an obstacle for you.
As a person you are accurate and flexible and know how to communicate effectively. You can handle working under pressure and can keep running multiple processes simultaneously. You are comfortable using Excel and it is meriting if you have experience in SAP. All communication is done in English, so it’s important that you can handle the language fluently.
