The S&OP Organization is responsible for the governance of aligning our operational and financial plans. The team plays a key role within the group by making information transparent and by securing that cross functional proactive decisions are taken. S&OP process includes, among other things, the sub processes of creating demand, inventory and supply plans as well as following up on how well we execute our plans.
The S&OP organization is also coordinating the supply of goods from factories and suppliers to sales companies and distributors. All communication between sales companies/distributors and factories/suppliers, with regards to forecasts, orders, delivery information etc, is routed via this department.
As Demand & Supply Chain Analyst you play a key role providing stakeholders with reports and fact-based information enabling proactive decisions to be taken and thereby targets to be reached.
We are at an interesting stage of development and we want someone who will participate in the work of developing and delivering our current reports.
Areas of responsibility
• Gather, interpret and analyze relevant data from multiple data sources & formats (inventory levels, production plans, service levels, backlog numbers, demand patterns, etc.)
• Develop reports and distribute them to stakeholders (inventory projection-/development reports, inventory quality, etc. )
• Prepare presentations and communication material/reports for distribution to stakeholders
• Support and strengthen our work with continuous improvements
Qualifications
We require someone who has experience within supply chain management and also has a university degree in logistics or economics. Excellent capabilities in VBA programming is essential, fluent English, both spoken and written is required.
You should be analytical, structured and thorough. Being service minded and flexible is natural for you as well as demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment. You have a proven record of being target oriented, being used to take initiatives and be ambitious in delivering high quality on time.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a must. You are also well experienced with creating advanced macros and with VBA programming. Access database knowledge is an advantage. Deep proficiency in working with GDW (Global Data Warehouse) desirable.
You will work mainly individually but be a part of a team supporting each other to reach common targets. The work also includes creating long-term relationships and co-operation with international colleagues within Husqvarna Group.
