Are you the new Demand Manager we are looking for? This role is key to supporting the Business Management process for the business in E&A and make sure we can meet our customer demand at all times. The key output for this role is ensuring the company operates with an accurate
24 month rolling demand plan.
The Market Demand Manager will implement and manage a robust and regionally consistent demand planning and control process for the Automotive and Industrial Business. The Demand Manager is accountable for maintaining and managing a formal, structured and regionally consistent Demand Management process within their Market.
Key accountabilities:
• Lead and manage a team of Market Demand Analysts who will provide in-depth analysis to support the system and process to drive improvement.
• Owns and develops the demand planning process and systems for the Market, in line with the regional best practice.
• Ownership and facilitation of the Market Demand Management process, proactively driving forecast accuracy and bias improvement.
• Analyses trends and understands business activity in order to provide challenge and make recommendations to improve the accuracy of the Demand Plan.
• Actively seeks and challenges all inputs into the Demand plan with skillful application of commercial knowledge * Maintains close relationship with Supply Chain, to provide clear insights into Demand Plans, and be the key integration point for demand control and supply balancing.
Krav på person
Experience ideally in B2B businesses, along with strong supply chain and commercial acumen. Experience in Sales and Customer management within business or supply chain is desirable. It is essential the incumbent have the ability to work with diverse groups across different geographies to solve problems and improve processes.
• Knowledge and experience of sales forecasting processes.
• Very strong facilitation and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical skills.
• High level of customer focus.
• High degree of energy, stamina and resilience, combined with a "can do" attitude.
• Continuous improvement mind-set.
• Change management skills.
• Speak out when I see something is not right and be prepared to say "no" or "stop" when necessary.
• Good presentation skills.
• Experience of SAP APO demand planning tool.
• Experience of Managing a diverse team across different geographies.
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated knowledge of Demand Management.
• The ability to work with diverse groups across different geographies to solve problems and improve processes.
