Who is your future team?
Operations is responsible for Axis global supply chain, sourcing, industrialization and manufacturing. We plan and execute to meet customer demands. We work in close collaboration with manufacturing partners worldwide, we take responsibility for building and maintaining a supplier base with everything needed to manufacture Axis products. We ensure that our supply chain is reliable in terms of quality and environmental impact.
What will you do as a Demand and Supply Director?
As the Demand and Supply Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our supply chain planning operations. You will lead a department with different functions, in total approximately 40 people, including the Demand Planning Team, Enterprise Sales Projects team (planning for large customer projects) and Material Supply Team. In summary this means being responsible for the Plan and Source part of the Score model.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the demand planning process, utilizing advanced forecasting techniques to predict customer demand accurately. This is then the foundation to prepare Axis end to end Supply Chain to deliver according to Customer demand.
* Managing the planning of materials, components, and finished goods from suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels.
* Drive Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) activities to manage real-time changes in demand or supply, making agile decisions to maintain optimal balance.
* Providing strategic leadership to a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and grounded leader with a solid record of accomplishment in leading relevant areas for the role, both strategically and operationally. You collaborate well with others and are curious to learn and develop while contributing to happy customers and the success of Axis.

You are used to work in a fast paced and growing environment, have a flexible attitude but with a structured approach when putting plans into actions. Have a business-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities. We furthermore believe you have:
* Several years of experience in a leading a global Supply Chain Management role, both strategically and operationally. Preferably including working specifically within S&OP and S&OE.
* A relevant education in the field.
* An ability to build and sustain strong trusting collaborative internal and external relationships.
* Fluent English skills.
The role will be based in Lund. Travel will be considered a natural part of the job. You will in this role be reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director.
