Lead Engineer
We are looking for a Lead engineer to strengthen our Global Design department team.
The position is placed in Vika and you report to Global lead engineer manager.
Details about the job
As a lead engineer for train connection systems your main task will be to direct and control the engineering work with regard to requirements.
Your responsibility
• Work as a technical project manager for customer projects. Focused on couplers, but you will work with all products within train connection systems.
• To carry out project design on the basis of the clients requirement specification and company policy.
• Ensure that?s the product is tailored to fit its functional and production needs.
• Participate in design reviews and meetings with the client and end customer. These meetings normally take place at the customer?s facilities around the world.
• Develop the process of working to improve the product quality and to meet the technical performance within the project budget.
• Together with Global Support team and Project Managers improve the performance of design resources.
The successful candidate will have following profile
Job experiences:
• Minimum of 3 years university degree within the area of the responsibility.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in designing couplers or related mechanical systems.
• Experience of CAD, preferably Inventor and vault.
Personal skills:
• Good leadership with good technical understanding and analytical skills.
• Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues, other departments and subsidiaries.
• Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude.
• Customer and service orientated approach with a positive mindset to visit our customers and sell Dellner solutions.
• Capacity to overview customer specifications and design accordingly.
