hela Sverige We have an immediate opening for a Delivery Manager at our Pulp & Performance Chemicals site in Bohus - an exciting role where you will contribute to building our new site organization.
As Delivery Manager you are responsible for packaging and shipping from the four production plants at the Bohus site. You are the manager of a team with 5 direct reports and about 15 indirect reports, and we expect you to develop the individual team members, build a capable and engaged team, and continuously improve and optimize our ways of working.
• Ensure packaging and shipping of products from the plants according to Delivery plans
• Formulate objectives for the delivery organization
• Set and fulfill budget for delivery organization
• Establish and enforce a high performance level within Delivery
• Support Site initiatives to create a culture of functional and operational excellence, engagement, continuous improvement, accountability and commitment to company values and behaviors
• Develop individual team members and build a team which collectively is capable of and fully involved in achieving the task
• Network with other managers at site and inside AkzoNobel to develop knowledge, experience and leverage best practice
- Bachelor degree within logistics or similar
- Experience from industrial management or logistics
- People management experience
- Preferably experience from process-driven business in a global company
- Good knowledge about health, safety, work environment and HSE regulations
- High interest in people, leadership, culture and change management
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
