In this role you will be reporting to the Director Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation, DVP Solutions, and you will be part of the Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation management team.
Role mission & context
As Manager EDB & PDM+ Wroclaw, you will be responsible for all delivieries in scope of the group, and for it's performance and development. You will be fully responsible for runtime deliveries and deliver projects according to P&IT & Business demands. You operate in a global context, having a number of interfaces to various units in Group IT and Process &IT within the Volvo Group and to strategic partners and suppliers delivering services into the solution portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for solutions in the EDB & PDM+ area within the group
manage all aspects of the solutions in scope and delivered with agreed cost, service levels/quality and solutions end-user satisfaction
manage development and integration of new IT solutions and new releases of the solutions in the portfolio
represent Group IT in Business steering commitees and Sub-portfolio working group & Process committee, when applicable
chair or participate in internal steering committees, when applicable
• Finance
• Runtime costs and service levels
• Ensure effective ?end-to-end? solution delivery and support
Drive key user network
Develop training material and secure execution
Set up and optimize delivery structure, maintenance and support organization
• Accountable for implementing decided tools, processes and working methods

In this role you will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. You have proven experience as a leader and excel in demonstrating the Volvo Group values. It is important that you have an innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge your organisation. You also have a true can do attitude, a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.
Required competencies:
Relevant university degree
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a global context
Proven experience in developing and coaching people
Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
Tools and processes used in the DVP process
Product structure management, PDM/PLM and related practices
Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
Fully proficient in English
