In this role you will be reporting to the Director Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation, DVP Solutions, and you will be part of the Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation management team.
Role mission & context
As Delivery Manager (DM) Core Product Documentation Management (PDM Core), you will have responsibility for the complete delivery of the full life-cycle for solutions for both run time and/or one-time, securing competitive standards in terms of business and cost efficiency of assigned solutions. You will be the SPDM (Sub Portfolio Delivery Manager) for PDM Core as well. In this role you are responsible for all short and long term planning and interaction with the Business Sub Portfolio Manager (BSPM) in Group Trucks Technology. You will have global contact with all the TD/BA's in the Volvo Group. Included in the role is also the personnel responsibilltiy for the group PDM Core (DE41500).
Key responsibilities
• Manage the one-time projects within the sub-portfolio and secure needed agreements
• Function as IT Readiness Forum Chairman and represent Group IT in business steering committees
• Manage the run-time cost and quality within the sub-portfolio and define priorities to stay within allocated budget as well as keeping a high quality
• Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the business stakeholders
• Actively benchmark the sub-portfolio with similar solutions, internal as well as external, in order to continuously provide a fit-for-purpose solution
• Contribute in the development of the road-map for the assigned sub-portfolio
• Manage decommissioning within the assigned sub-portfolio, if applicable
• Drive continuous improvement of the delivery
• Manage the assignment in accordance to the Solution Delivery Plan, manage agreed KPI's and PI's
• Plan for long-term capacity and competence management aligned with the solution road map
• People management in terms of recruitment, competence development, people review, salary setting etc.
• Contribute to the development of the road-map
• Drive complaints on deliveries towards resolution and resolution of Major incidents
• Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives and Guidelines
• Responsible for building an excellent cooperation across the domains/regions within/cross Group IT
As DM/SPDM you will have the following authority:
• Accountable for the runtime cost level, Accountable for the IT costs for one-time deliveries
• Accountable for new development, enhancement and runtime estimations
• Accountable for overall quality and performances of the deliveries

Required competencies
• Relevant university degree
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a global context
• Proven experience in developing and coaching people
• Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
• Product structure management, PDM/PLM and related practices
• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Fully proficient in English
