Solution Delivery Unit MAS/DCL
Solution delivery Unit MAS/DCL "Market and Sell Total Offer/Deliver & Develop Customer Loyalty" is a global unit within IT Services. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the area of MAS/DCL are managed in an optimal way.
Solution Center MAS
The Solution Center MAS is the function within Solution delivery Unit MAS/DCL that is managing delivery responsibilities for core solutions for the sub-portfolios Prospect & customer management, Complete Offer and Sales Order Planning. The function has full responsibility for runtime (cost, quality of service) and for the delivery of projects.
The function is staffed with its own resources including experts in the corresponding MAS/DCL-area complemented with resources coming from the Shared IT Services organization. The function is supporting roadmap design and long term plan in its area and is responsible to drive deliveries according to the global solutions agenda.
We are now looking for a Delivery Lead Order Manager runtime
In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager in SDU MAS/DCL.
Role mission & context
As Delivery Leader, you are overall responsible for the delivery of a team. The Delivery Lead is expected to be operational in the delivery but also to be responsible for the team delivery. The Delivery Leader is expected to have a good knowledge and experience either in a relevant technology or/and in a business solution/process, combined with good leadership skills.
As Delivery Leader, you are the main contact person for the TSP solution E2E teams, TSP support teams, TOSS teams, SITS line management and/or equivalent. You cooperate closely with the SDU DM, other SDU DLs and other delivery teams. You will work based on terms, conditions and commitments for solution deliveries and delegated responsibilities established and documented and formally introduced by the Delivery Manager.
You will be working with the OM (Order Manager) solution. OM is the global solution for order management within Group Trucks. It handles vehicle orders from the point when an order is registered (order entry) to the delivery of the vehicle (invoiced all levels).
Responsibilities and Powers
Examples of relevant tasks are:
• Plan, inform, co-ordinate, distribute, implement and monitor the team's activities on a daily and regular basis to create an efficient work distribution
• Participate in business development by carrying out work within an established area/niche
• Make decisions on matters related to the team delivery like:
• Implementation of tasks
• Assigned scope of the team
• Ensure execution, follow up and report on agreed performance indicators and targets.
• Manage deliveries according to agreed estimations on cost, time and quality
• Secure a professional relationship with other stakeholders within the delivery organization, to ensure an efficient End-To-End-delivery
• Initiate, support, drive and implement continuous improvement activities with focus on productivity and cost-efficiency in the team
• Establish long-term and short-term delivery/resource plans, according to the team's agreed deliveries, to meet business targets/plans, SLA etc., contributing to the Service Delivery Plan
Wanted profile
As a Delivery Lead you are a leader and team player. You have proven experience in leading and developing teams according to Lean principles.
Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
You have proven experience in business and excel in demonstrating core values according to the Volvo Way.
Required competencies
• Relevant university degree
• Strong/relevant OM Solution knowledge including interfacing systems
• Strong knowledge in the processes supported by the OM solution and the interfacing systems
• Documented experience in leading teams using lean principles
• Ability to drive change
• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
