About the position:
The Delivery Service team at UIQ is the driving force behind the successful integration of the UIQ software product and the mobile phone manufacturer software baseline.
Right now we are in an exciting period of growth, why we are looking for skilled engineers to join our team. The Delivery Services team is responsible for the integration and validation of the UIQ
products, according to Customer requirements before delivering it.
We are now looking for a Delivery Engineer to join our team. As a Delivery Engineer you will be part of a highly motivated team that is responsible for the creation and delivery of software
baselines to our customers. You will be part of the team interfacing our customers in build and release related areas. You will work closely with software engineer both in customer projects and in
the UIQ Software Development department.
Key Tasks
• Integrate customer specific modification to the UIQ product
• Customization of UIQ software components to meet customer requirements.
• Moderate defect management on behalf of UIQ customers
• Representing customer towards the internal UIQ software development
• Supporting customers with technical delivery related issues
Qualifications and education:
• A university degree in Computer Science is desired but not necessary. Personality and the ability to handle and solve problems are more important.
• Very good communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of C++ programming
