Who are we?
Dealer Inventory Management (DIM) is a newly established global function responsible to maintain and develop a world class inventory management concept for Volvo Group dealers. We are also responsible to secure an optimized steering of spare parts to our 3000 dealers around the globe.

DIM Analysis EMEA & APAC is today a diverse team of innovative analysts from 9 different nationalities located in Sweden (Gothenburg), Malaysia and Japan. We cover all Volvo Group brands in EMEA and APAC, but also work closely with our colleagues in North America. Together with process and project managers in our extended team, we are key players in delivering the strategic roadmap for developing updated concepts to fit the future.
Being at the end of the supply chain, we are passionate about developing concepts that meet our end customers' needs. Job summary
Within DIM Analysis you will have a broad role working with deep analysis as well as forward looking development. You will have the opportunity to really make a difference for the future together with supporting colleagues in a highly international and skilled team.
You will work in close cooperation with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues to secure optimized service for our end customers throughout the supply chain.
Some of the areas where we will be spending our time short term are in process automatization using software robots (RPA); development of analytical tools and follow up reports in Qlikview; Segmented optimization of dealer inventory using a Python developed simulation model.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Coordinate/Lead DIM activities in cross-functional global teams
• Steer service market flow to dealers?Optimize steering of dealer inventory using models to simulate cost and service levels
?Work closely with DIM-teams in the regions to secure local needs are being considered in steering
• Perform dealer inventory management analysis?Analyse large volumes of complex data
?Develop, standardize, implement and improve analysis tools (eg. Qlikview dashboards)
?Perform root cause analysis
• Strive for continuous enhancements of logistical processes and services by?Participating to and/or drive FOIP DIM Development activities
?Exploring possibilities of robotic process automation
?Proposing and implementing improvements and global best practice
?Collaborating with other departments in Service Market Logistics such as Demand and Inventory Planning; Advanced Analytics; Transport Flow Optimization etc.

Who are you?
In order to be successful in this position you need to be a team player with a curious and creative mindset. You possess good communication skills and value building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in a global environment. You are openly sharing results and reasoning, and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms. You enjoy working in a changing climate and have the ability to plan and deliver short term sprints towards a long term direction. You have a background in service market logistics either from a theoretical or practical perspective.

Education, experience, knowledge and skills:
• A degree in supply chain, logistics or related area
• Excellent knowledge in theoretical logistics and stock management
• Excellent analytical and statistical skills
• Experience from analysis with large datasets, complex systems and optimization
• Experience from working in a global & cross functional environment
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken
• Ability to clearly present and visualize conclusions and decision material
• Knowledge in Qlikview development; RPA and/or Python programming is a merit
• Continuous Improvement/Lean/Six Sigma/Problem Solving Methodology experience is a merit
