hela Sverige Ericsson's Machine to Machine (M2M) service is called Ericsson Device Connection Platform (EDCP) and we are looking to recruit into the Connectivity and Infrastructure organization of that service. Ericsson DCP is one of Ericsson's strategic initiatives to provide device connectivity to our customers for Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet-of-things (IoT) communication services.
EDCP is responsible for E2E build up and maintenance of connectivity and infrastructure needed for M2M and IOT. Our connectivity platform supports connectivity with legacy radio accesses i.e. 2G, 2.5G, 3G, 4G and now expanding towards 5G and NB-IOT.
We belong to Business Area Emerging Business & Technology, IoT, which is an important growth area within Ericsson, accountable for portfolio and capital resource allocation for IoT within Ericsson.
Responsibilities:
The Ericsson DCP solution consists of two areas Device Connectivity System (DCS) and Business Support Systems (BSS). Within Ericsson DCP development we are now building an E2E customer test environment and are looking into strengthen our team with test and verification engineers within IP and Core Network.
Within DCS we have both internal Ericsson products, such as STP, GGSN, EPG, vEPG, UDC (HLR-FE, CUDB, PG), LTE (HSS-FE, DSC), MPBN including IPWORKS, SAPC and 3rd Party products, such as SMSC from Symsoft and OSIX probes from Polystar.
Within DCP we are working in the forefront of technology, actively supporting Ericsson's vision of a Networked Society.
Key responsibility for this position is to:
- Life Cycle Management of DCS Test environments
• Operation and maintenance on DCS test environments
• Answer internal as well as customer requests
• Prepare Ericsson DCP test environment descriptions and documentation
• Document processes, methods and procedures
• Develop a test framework and tools
Qualifications
Skills and experience for this position shall include, but are not limited to the following:
Since we are building an E2E customer test environment, experience from Customer Support is beneficial.
Hands on experience in IP & Core Network integration with relevant knowledge from one or several of below areas:
IP protocols and flow design (MPLS, VPN, BGP)
Packet Core (EPG, vEPG, SAPC)
IP Backbone (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
IPWorks (DNS Radius)
UDC (HLR, HSS, CUDB and PG)
Signaling (SS7 and Diameter)
CS Core (2G, 3G and 4G)
3PP (Symsoft SMSC and Polystar OSIX Probes)
5+ years system integration or equivalent experience with a proven track record of success
Experience from customer delivery projects
You must be fluent in oral and written English and have excellent communication and presentation skills
