As a Network Specialist with our customer, you 'll be at the forefront of designing, planning, and optimizing network infrastructures, and you 'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their IT global systems.
What You 'll Do
As a Network Specialist, your day-to-day work will be a dynamic blend of innovation, implementation, and troubleshooting. Here 's a glimpse into what your role entails:
* Cisco ACI Mastery: Keep developing an advanced understanding of Cisco ACI, delving into ACI architectures, components (Tenant, BD, VRF, APIC, L2out, and L3out), and Nexus DC technologies. Your operational and troubleshooting skills will be instrumental in maintaining the optimal performance of their ACI infrastructure.
* Network Architecture: Collaborate with your team to design and enhance network architectures, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance. Dive into the intricacies of Cisco ACI, LAN/WAN, switches, and routers to create robust and efficient solutions.
* Data Center Expertise: Get hands-on in the data center environment, where you 'll be responsible for installing, configuring, commissioning, and decommissioning network equipment. You 'll be the architect of high-performance data center LAN and WAN services.
* Infrastructure Enhancement: Analyze the existing network operations and provide valuable recommendations for improvement and growth. Your insights will drive the evolution of the infrastructure and global IT systems.
* Routing Mastery: Leverage your advanced understanding of dynamic routing protocols like BGP and OSPF to ensure seamless network connectivity and optimized traffic routing.
* Technical Proficiency: Showcase your expertise in a range of networking protocols and services, including BGP, OSPF, IPsec, GRE, HSRP/VRRP, NAT/PAT, SNMP, MPLS, VoIP, SIP, VPLS, QoS, T1, DS3, Ethernet, and Cisco ACI.
* Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Explore the world of automation tools such as Rest API and Ansible to implement ACI efficiently. Your functional-level knowledge will be crucial in streamlining our network operations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor 's degree network engineering or in a relevant field.
* 7+ years of proven work experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
* 5+ years of proven experience working with Cisco ACI is necessary for the role.
* Proficiency in network protocols and services.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
