www.bwin.ag.For our office in Stockholm, we are now looking for a Database Developer to join our Development team within Specialist & Methods. You will be involved in development projects designing scalable database schemas and optimizing queries working closely with the developers. In addition you will be working with performance monitoring, test data creation and schema updates.
Main tasks:
Help developers with writing scalable and optimized SQL-queries. Monitor performance and make improvements to existing database code Assist QA department with database tests and test data creation Design scalable database schemas and deploy schema updates to multiple environments
Required experience and skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Specialized your education in database technology or have at least one year hands-on experience with database development.
Data warehouse experience
Java development, J2EE, Hibernate, JDBC
A deep understanding of storage engines and database optimization
Preferred skills:
Knowledge of php, bash scripting or similar is an advantage.
