Database Analyst
The Business Division Distribution and Sales is responsible for the retail energy market and the interface to the end customers of Vattenfall. We sell electricity, gas, heat and some energy-related services to 7.5 million customers. The business operations are organised in five Business Units -Sales B2C, Sales B2B, Heat, Distribution and Energy Related Services - and one Service Unit - Customer Service. Within the different units we have more than 15,000 employees and operate today in eight different countries: Sweden, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Germany and Norway.
The Business Intelligence department within Sales B2C is responsible for helping Sales Operations, through fact-base advice and insights in customer preferences and behaviours in order to improve customers' experiences, as well as profitability for Vattenfall. Vattenfall has a high ambition to develop the relationship with existing and potential customers, and we are now looking for a database analyst to be a part of this exciting development.
Your challenge
As a Database Analyst you will be responsible for increasing customer insights in Sales B2C in order to increase profitability and loyalty of customers. You will work in close co-operation with your colleagues in the departments Marketing & Sales, Product & Price and Marketing Communication. You will perform all kinds of analyses in fact-based marketing, such as customer segmentation, response analysis, customer value models, indicator development, campaign selection and forecasting models. From the results of your analyses you will give advice and recommendations to your stakeholders. You have great opportunities to work with international colleagues, and also to work abroad for a period of time.

• Initiate method- and analysis improvement
• Develop loyalty and forecasting methods
• Develop new indicators and key figures
• Building up and developing the analysis database
Qualifications
You have a post secondary education, preferably in marketing, statistics, economy, econometrics, databases or similar, and we believe that you have experience of mass-market industry regarding sales and marketing efforts. You have practical experiences from working with statistical analysis, large databases and datasets in SPSS, SAS or SQL. As a person you have strong analytical skills, you take initiative and strive to perform. You are communicative and through your specialist knowledge you are driven to deliver business value. You can easily create trust and good working relations, and are driven to constantly finding profitable business solutions to the problems you face. Finally you master English very well, both spoken and in writing.
