VetFamily is a network of animal hospitals and veterinary clinics spanning across Europe, USA, Brazil and Australia. Clinics that form part of VetFamily enjoy support in such things as purchasing, administration and business development. Better purchasing conditions and less administration mean VetFamily members enjoy an improved ability to invest in their operations and spend more time with patients and pet owners. Currently VetFamily consists of 11 international offices, but rapidly expanding both locally and internationally.

The position
VetFamily has an ambition of digitizing an industry with a lot of untapped potential, with several exciting projects going on in parallell. A crucial aspect to achieve their ambitions is to develop a Data Warehouse to enable structuring, analyzing and visualization of data from their customers and suppliers across Europe, USA, Brazil and Australia. Which means, they need to find a driver of this company wide initiative.VetFamily is looking for a self-driven, curious, and highly logical individual to join our data team team as Data Engineer. You should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for working across teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do
• Develop and maintain our data warehouse solution
• Collaborate with Product or Operations in answering critical business questions
• Develop instrumentation to track progress against key business objectives
• Develop solutions that make data insights accessible to all

About You:
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or Data science
• 4+ years of full-time work experience as data engineer
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETLs, and AWS
• Deep, practical understanding of statistical analysis techniques
• Strong communication skills with a consistent record of collaborating across a wide variety of teams and disciplines in a dynamic environment
