As our Data Warehouse Developer you will be part of a team of very talented data warehouse developers and will help us to utilize Informatica ETL-, data quality- and metadata features to develop complex solutions.
The team members work closely with business in defining requirements for system applications, and has a typically in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages and clearly recognized as a content expert by peers.
The scope of ETL design and development includes but is not limited to data extraction from heterogeneous data sources, data transformation (e.g., data cleansing), database loading, and support to meet the needs of the business. Individual should have experience with various databases platforms including Oracle (primary), Teradata and SQL Server.
Knowledge
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures related to ETL/Data design and development.
• Implementing solutions using Informatica PowerCenter 9x/10x.
• Good understanding of relational database theory, principles, and industry leading practices
• Knowledge in an applied subject matter such as finance or accounting
• Develop and recommend strategies and specifications for (technical) data solutions based on the analysis of the business goals, objectives, needs, and existing data systems infrastructure.
• Data Modeling and experience in developing new logical, conceptual, and physical models for data and system flows
• Work with ETL developers, business analyst, DBAs, system administrators, to architect data model, design and implement database as well as write ETL related programs.
Experience
• At least 5-7 years' experience in a large Data Warehouse environment.
• 3-5 years' experience in Informatica PowerCenter (9x/10x3-4 years' experience in Linux/Unix
• 3-5 years' experience in databases - Oracle preferred
• 3-5 years' experience in banking, knowledge in an applied subject matter such as finance or accounting
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse/MDM concepts
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks/projects according to priorities
