We are now looking for Data Warehouse Analysts to join the Common Data Warehouse unit at Nordea. This is an opportunity for you to work with a wide range of data related topics and projects of high importance to Nordea. You will get to interact with stakeholders across the different business areas and group functions in the bank, with a focus on the end to end delivery lifecycle starting from the requirements definition to the developed services and capabilities.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Common Data Warehouse which is the main repository in Nordea for data used in business development activities across business area analysis, regulatory and management reporting. The Common Data Warehouse has expanded in use, across the bank and we are therefore looking to expand the unit.
The team consists of data professionals across the Nordics and Poland with skills ranging from functional to deep hands-on technical capabilities. As a Data Warehouse Analyst, you will be working in a collaborative environment towards many different businesses and IT areas within Nordea as well as external vendors.
This position can be located in Copenhagen; Stockholm.
What you'll be doing:
• Support projects in evaluating and analysing data
• Act as functional Architect by providing solutions and identifying areas of improvements
• Be the business driver and sourcing & transformation expert in projects and improvements
• Sign off functional design and data quality tests
• Ensure alignment to business architecture and assess business value for our stakeholders
• Provide end-user support to customers across Nordea, who are in need of our data

Your experience and background:
• Ability to understand business requirements and turn those into functional specifications and designs.
• Good communication skills - including fluency in English.
• Experience from financial sector will be a plus.
• University degree in Economics/IT/Math or other relevant area.
• Excellent analytical abilities and high attention to details.
• Enjoy problem-solving and knowledge sharing with your colleagues.
• Result-oriented and eager to learn.
• Ability to work between business and IT.
• Knowledge of SQL, SAS, database modelling or data warehouse will be an asset.
