hela Sverige "Data is the new oil", a resource that can be extracted and refined to provide a valuable asset. However, not all deposits of oil are worth our time or needs to be refined to the highest quality. The challenge is to uncover valuable data assets with minimum risk of spending time and resources - to end up with just a data swamp.
Your role
Center of Excellence (CoE) Data Utilization has the mission to act as a hub and catalyst in supporting the organization with transformation towards a Data-Driven culture. The CoE will identify and empower data-driven initiatives, assisting with e.g.
* Data platform,
* Information security,
* Business cases,
while champion the long-term goal for the business.
Work will be divided between business wide tasks and close collaboration with selected initiatives. An example of a wide task could be to discuss how to handle information minimizing risk from security perspective while maximizing value for the business (e.g. value of data-driven insights or data availability). Supporting initiatives is thought to be an incubator, from the CoE, thus working together for some time to enable the team with their goal. In general it is expected that the assignment is a majority processes, strategies and business cases, while whatever remains could be actual modelling, data wrangling or coding tasks.
You will be part of a small team of champions working on tasks cross Aeronautics. Together with IT and Security functions you will be a part of forming our joint capability to become data-driven.

We are searching for you, with previous experience relevant to

any part of data-driven culture.
Maybe you are currently a developer working with data or a business analyst, who would like to develop a future with more advanced data usage and more data-driven decisions. Or maybe you are a statistician, data engineer or working with AI that would like to improve the foundation and understanding for these areas. It is advantageous to have experience within economics, creating business cases and/or marketing.
It is important to understand that this is a starting point for the CoE, meaning that there are no history or current processes. Therefore, you should be able to work without clear guidance and support the development of how to work within the CoE to best fulfill our duty.
As the work is often performed in teams it is important that you possess good communication skills. This position also involves many contact areas, both internally and externally, which requires a high level of social competence and co-operative skills.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
