Work tasks
* As a data translator at Boliden Smelters IT, you will aid the gap in expertise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
* You will continuously have contacts with the Smelters production sites and will lead and facilitate discussions and workshops to gain a deep understanding of business challenges and needs.
* You will look for business problems or processes that can be streamlined and optimized and bring those issues to data scientists on the business side.
* Working closely with architects, developers, and different stakeholders to create solutions that deliver business value.
* You will take part of testing together with business stakeholders.
Education and qualifications
We are looking for a person with analytic skills who has a good experience of managing data. An academic education as Bachelor of Science, or knowledge from corresponding work experience.
Conceptual knowledge of Azure platform and knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tool creating reports is meritorious. You have a passion for data and its supporting tools.
You follow trends and new techniques and are a quick learner. A good understanding of process automation is meritorious. We expect you to be fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish. The job requires good communication skills, a focus on results, ability to cooperate and ability to build trust. Travels will occur.

We are in a digital transformation within areas like AI, planning optimization, reporting and visualization. Our Data Analytics solution is built on Microsoft Azure components and serves as a basis for analytics and reporting as well as development projects that is based on common data.
