In the role as Data Scientist you will work operatively with descriptive and prescripts analysis that directly impacts Lowell's business processes and strategy. You are responsible for analysing, developing and ensuring that the management information support works adequately and achieves best practices. Your role also includes tasks such as evaluation of results and that the statistical models maintain good quality. You are responsible for the development of the statistical modelling, maintenance and statistical models for sourcing and scorecards for operational values, where you apply different tools to constantly achieve higher accuracy. Furthermore, you are also responsible for claiming towards internal and external suppliers regarding information, decision support data and functionality.
The position is located in Stockholm and you will be are part of the BI & Reporting Team.
KvalifikationerEducation, experience & personal qualities
• Relevant academic degree in Mathematics, Statistics and/or Finance, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and data modelling through statistical models is required
• Previous contact with and understanding in modelling through R is a requirement.
• It is qualifying if you have worked in tools such as SAS, Statistica or the equivalent.
• You speak and write fluently in English. Swedish is meritorious.
