hela Sverige We are continuously growing, month on month, year after year, and so does our
sophistication and need for data, insight, analysis, and automation. In our Business
Intelligence team, we are focused on data engineering on one side of the team, driving data
and BI development for the whole company. On the other side of the team, we are analysts,
attached as satellites to various departments throughout the company, helping them with datadriven
decision making, creating best practices and providing insight. Additionally, we are
building a data science team dedicated to the development of services and solutions by
utilizing skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, and software engineering. This is a
chance to do pioneering work and you get a chance to shape how things are done in the team
as well as coming up with new projects.
You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers and
business analysts to research and develop services and solutions to challenging business
needs.
It is expected that you are able to work independently, using your preferred programming
techniques, skills in modeling and statistics to carry out analysis projects, automate processes
and develop and deploy advanced predictive models that help to improve the player
experience.
You are encouraged and empowered to identify opportunities that can be utilized to enhance
the effectiveness and efficiencies within the organization. Your skills to effectively
communicate make it possible for non-tech staff to enjoy the fruits of data science. The role
offers exposure to many interesting and skilled people throughout the whole company.
Some examples of the awesome projects that you may be involved in:
• Design and deployment of game recommendation services
• Modeling and prediction of customer behavior
• Modeling of bonus and loyalty programs
• Improvements to our data ecosystem and development of new analysis tools
Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Degree in an applied quantitative field e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
• You have experience using databases as well as distributed systems and understand
how to implement, deploy, and maintain applications in a cloud environment
• You write code that is maintainable and reusable in Python, R, Java or Scala and are
familiar with version control (e.g. Git, Subversion) as well as containerization (e.g.
Docker, Kubernetes)
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques and technologies
• A hands-on approach looking for solutions rather than worrying over problems
• Team player mentality
• Good oral and written communication in English
We do like you a bit extra if you have:
• Experience within the i-Gaming industry or other e/m-commerce industry
• Experience from large-scale machine learning projects, ideally real-time applications
