As a Graduate Data Scientist at Paradox Interactive, you will join our dynamic Data & Analytics team, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes that enhance player experiences and business strategies. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience who are eager to start their careers in data science within the gaming industry.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Visualization:
Analyze player behavior and game metrics.
Develop dashboards/reports with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Present insights to stakeholders.
Statistical Modeling & Machine Learning:
Build predictive models (e.g., churn prediction).
Collaborate with teams and communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role (internships and academic projects count).
Technical Skills
Programming Languages: Basic proficiency in Python or R.
Data Manipulation: Experience with SQL for querying databases.
Data Visualization: Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Statistical Analysis: Understanding of basic statistical methods and their application.
Machine Learning: Introductory knowledge of machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
