Job Description
Our SaaS platform team develop and maintain the SaaS platforms that help our clients recruit and develop their workforce. As a Data Scientist at Assessio you will design, implement, and deploy robust prediction algorithms that give our customers completely new and unique insights. You will collaborate closely both with product owners and the whole engineering team. Assessio's SaaS platform team comprises talented individuals with a broad range of cultural backgrounds. Your contribution will be essential to both the team and the business success of Assessio group. We are thus looking for a team player with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Main Responsibilities
Research, design, implement, deploy and operate robust and scalable prediction algorithms with the target to give our clients completely new and unique insights
Design and implement pipelines and services for pre-processing, training, and serving of machine learning models and algorithms.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand & refine the business needs and targeted outcomes.
Working closely for the agile teams developing our new SaaS platform
Contribute to the definition and implementation of best practices in terms of data infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
B.Sc degree or higher in relevant engineering / data science field
Proficiency in a relevant programming language (e.g. Python as well as SQL)
Minimum 4 years of hands-on work experience in the Data Science field, preferably working with a range of machine learning approaches and algorithms.
Good knowledge and understanding of common predictive machine learning approaches and related performance metrics.
Deep understanding of predictive modelling, clustering and classification methods and algorithms.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
Good English skills (speaking and writing).
Beneficial to have:
Knowledge of trade-offs and considerations related to the application of machine learning and algorithms in social and health sciences.
Experience from working with cloud-based systems, particularly AWS, and its machine learning services.
Interest in data mesh and decentralised data architectures.
M.Sc. degree in the data science field.
Reporting
The Data Scientist is reporting to the CTO
