About War On Cancer
Established in 2017, War On Cancer is a Swedish-founded healthtech company aimed at radically improving the lives of those impacted by cancer. The app is one of the world's largest social cancer apps, enabling its members to connect with others impacted by cancer, share their stories, and provide a support system. The app also amplifies the patient voice in cancer research through in-app studies, making it easy for members to contribute their insights and improve the future of cancer care. The app is currently available in over 20 countries with offices in Stockholm and London.
About the team

Inner development and mental health are at the forefront of our agenda, and we are now in search of a Data scientist lead that can help us move into the next product phase by owning our data pipelines and building next gen data models to incorporate in our product .
We're looking for
We're on the hunt for a talented Data scientist to join War On Cancer's product team in Stockholm, Sweden. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the work of setting up our data structure and modeling it in order to create value to our members on the War On Cancer platform.
You have
You have MSc/ BS in Data Mathematics or equivalent
You have a analytical mindset and thrive when msense of data
You have a proven track record of building data models by using machine learning and AI training
Experience from building intuitive dashboard and visualization of data
You love exploring and finding truth in data to support the rest of the organisation
Experience from building data pipelines' and supporting infrastructure architecture around them from scratch
You love to grow and engage an online community through making use of data.
Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand language for our stakeholders.
Experience with Big Query, AirFlow, PHP, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and MySQL
Fluency in English
A team player attitude, are well organised and keep cool when working to tight deadlines
