About the job
You'll be a part of our amazing ML team handling immense volumes of fascinating data. In this role, you'll among other things work on constantly improving Tibber's energy consumption time series forecasting. This is core to Tibber energy trading activities. You'll also get to develop Tibber's energy price forecasting capability for multiple power markets including the day ahead, intraday- and imbalance markets. You'll also be working on complex optimization problems involved in the optimal scheduling of the hundreds of thousands of connected smart devices in the Tibber fleet including electric vehicles, wall chargers, and heaters. Exciting, right? In their daily work, the team uses technologies and tools such as Python, Scipy, Scikit-learn, SQL, and Pandas. For optimization purposes, they use tools including Pyomo and ScipOpt.
About you
You have a keen interest in forecasting and optimization, and are perhaps even a little nerdy about it? You enjoy working in teams, where knowledge sharing is key. We value a great set of communication skills, and you don't see it as an obstacle having some of your colleagues in other countries. You have a proactive mindset and you enjoy challenging tasks.
