hela Sverige We are recruiting a Biotechnology specialist with experience in bioprocess data evaluation and simulation. You will join our Data Scientist group as expert within our growing innovation team. Our portfolio of Data Analytics offerings paves the way for our customers to move towards data-driven process development and smart commercial manufacturing. Sartorius helps Life Sciences partners to get new therapies to market faster, enhance product quality as well as patient safety.
You will be responsible for understanding challenges in life science R&D and manufacturing to identify opportunities applying advanced data modelling, machine learning and visualisation techniques. Your role will be to evaluate and adopt methods to support digitalisation across the industry. You will serve as a link between customer needs and our software development team and your contribution will be essential for the success of our innovation strategy.
This position is based in Umeå.
What you will accomplish together with us:
Working with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging process and research data to drive business solutions
Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data modelling techniques
Developing and customising models and algorithms to solve data analytic use cases
Facilitating technology transfer from the research team to software development
Reading and understanding scientific papers and adopting inventions to practical use
Developing processes and tools to monitor and evaluate data accuracy and model performance
What will convince us:
Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, data science or computer science
Proven experience in a similar role in life sciences industry or related fields
Experience with systems biology modelling or downstream process simulation
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
Capable of working towards deadlines
Highly collaborative and able to work with stakeholders internationally
