hela Sverige The Data Protection Coordinator (DPC) is a role within Volvo Car Group, Global Customer Service (GCS). The DPC has relevant knowledge of GDPR and its application in order to coordinate all regulatory activities within GCS line of business. The Data Protection Coordinator serves as key advisor and liaison between the Data Protection Organization and GCS ensuring proper E2E data protection and data subject request process management.
The Data Protection Coordinator supports and oversees GCS activities related to development, implementation, maintenance and adherence to privacy policies and compliance with applicable legislation or frameworks, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
What you'll do
* Responsible for coordinating data protection and GDPR compliance activities within Global Customer Service.
* Coordinate with Data Protection Officer to ensure that GCS has adequate procedures and programs in place to comply with applicable law and internal privacy policies/regulations.
* Support monitoring of GCSs compliance with applicable law and internal privacy policies, directives and guidelines.
* Create and maintain appropriate guidelines and materials reflecting Global Customer Service practices and requirements.
* Coordinate with appropriate programs and activities within Line of Business.
* Support monitoring of systems development and operations for data compliance.
* Maintains and follows up on Processing Activities Register within Customer Experience Operations together with Product / Application Owners.
* Follow up on Data Protection Risks related to CXO Processing Activities and report risk posture to Data Protection Organization.
You and your skills
* Knowledge of relevant data protection laws, regulations and standards and their application
* Change management and project management
* Industry specific understanding of IT and data management systems to ensure proper security systems are in place to protect personal information.
* Good understanding of both business processes and relevant tools in order continuously anchor data protection requirements within GCS.
* Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes, identify actions and perform requirement mapping related to regulation adherence.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, be adaptable to work with members of staff across departments.
* Previous applied practice within the area of Customer Experience is desirable, preferably in an international context.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Organization and facilitation skills
* Ability to carry out inspections, consultations and required documentation
Experience
* Experience in policy development in connection to with Customer Experience
* In-depth understanding of GDPR.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
