We shape the world we want to live in!

Volvo Energy is our newest business area with the overarching purpose of accelerating electrification and driving circularity for a better tomorrow. With an agile approach and a can-do mindset, we actively work to ensure the acceleration of the electrification transformation every day in all that we do. As the Volvo Group, we are driving circularity in our industry forward in these important areas.
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at Volvo Energy as Data Product Manager.

What are we looking for in this specific role?

As a Data Product Manager at Volvo Energy, you will play a critical role in driving Volvo Energy's development and management of data products in both the battery and charging domains. Your primary focus will be to simplify and accelerate the data experience at Volvo Energy and offer a best-in-class experience to data consumers across the business.

You will also aid Volvo Energy in enhancing our capabilities in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

We are looking for you that are highly technical but 'business outcome' oriented; delivering great products that address real needs. You are deeply interested and enthusiastic about working with data and are highly motivated to drive positive change in organizations through data-driven decision making.

You identify yourself as someone who is passionate about new technologies and eternally curious, all together with a growth mindset and high degree of accountability. Presentations are something you are used to, and your communication skills are excellent.

You lead by example and have great collaborating and interpersonal skills, always responding and adapting to new challenges and opportunities coming your way.

Additional responsibilities will include among others:
Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with internal teams, including business partners, data analysts, engineers, and business analysts to understand data-related needs and requirements.
Product Development - Write product requirements and initiative pitches and oversee the end-to-end development process of data products, collaborating with technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Provide guidance on data architecture, data pipelines, data modeling, and data quality assurance.
Product Roadmap - Prioritize initiatives and create a product roadmap that outlines the planned features, functionalities, and milestones in collaboration with the network of key stakeholders or business partners.
Product Launch and Iteration - Coordinate the data product launch, ensuring effective communication, training, and support for internal teams and customers. Measure product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on the product to drive continuous improvement.
Performance Measurement - Define metrics to track the success and impact of data products. Generate reports to assess product performance against defined goals.
Strategic Direction - Work with the Head of Data to define the strategic direction for data products, considering customer requirements, and business goals.

Making it a success for yourself and Volvo Energy

Welcome to a global team unified by an important mission, great ideas, fun, diversity, and inclusion. Our colleagues are - and will always be - the most important part of the story, as each colleague truly matters and plays an essential role in our journey.
To succeed, we believe you are innovative, pragmatic, creative with a positive spirit, curious and have an entrepreneurial mindset. Being recognized in your specialties, you are a forward-looking person, and you see opportunities when others see risks. Being appreciated by your peers, you enjoy connecting with a broad network, building win-win approaches and developing relationships.

You have a strong ability to move from words to action in an organized and structured way. You are down-to-earth and are equally at home working hands-on as you are leading strategic discussions.

Consequently, whilst demands are high, there is also plenty of opportunities to learn and grow - as a professional and as a person. We will be a fairly small team and therefore look for colleagues that thoroughly enjoy this intrapreneurial challenge, can hit the ground running and lead with passion, perform with purpose and transform with vision. Moreover, it will be essential you have a strong ability to form trustful relationships to effectively work with partners - inside and outside of the Volvo Group - in a cross-functional manner.

If our entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and customer-focused mindset light your inner fire, we might be a great match!
