What's in it for you
In alignment with Volvo Cars' global data and analytics strategy, we have established a decentralized data hub within the finance domain. This hub is responsible for implementing the strategy and spearheading the data and analytics transformation within finance. A key objective is to ensure the availability of trusted, fit-for-purpose financial data that can be leveraged across the organization. To achieve this, we are forming a new product team within the hub, focused on designing, developing, and maintaining consumer-aligned strategic data products using a modern data-as-a-product approach.

What you'll do
As a Data Product Manager your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:
Lead a Data Product team within the Finance Data Hub, a group with data engineering and business intelligence competence responsibe to design, develop and maintain strategic data products within finance.
Own, refine and deliver on the Finance Data Product Roadmap.
Drive the discovery for new data products and collaborate with Data Architects on optimal data model given consumer needs.
Maintain close relationships with stakeholders on the consuming side to understand the wider needs within an information domain.
Maintain close relationships with stakeholders on the producing side to ensure source data can be trusted and is of high quality.
Treat data as a product - continuously gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the data products in the team's portfolio.

You are passionate about continuous improvement, and you want to contribute with your experience and expertise. In your work, you are organized, methodical and professional in a way that benefits the team's working climate and ability to deliver high quality solutions.
We believe the optimal candidate have previously worked within the field of data and analytics but have recently transitioned into product management (or have an interest in doing so).
We believe that most of the following characteristics describes you:
Experience leading a data and/or analytics function (formally or informally).
Experience in information and data modelling.
Hands on SQL experience and comfortable exploring and test data products.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a commercial mindset, with an understanding of the business implications of data.
Previously experience from financial transactions and processes.

This position is based at Volvo Cars' international HQ in Gothenburg or the Tech Hub in Stockholm.
