As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, our Data Platform Team is now looking for a versatile Data Engineer with a great deal of experience and a truly Agile mindset to join Zettle's journey.
In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team and get the opportunity to co-tackle a wide variety of challenges together with a group of talented people driven by a shared ambition to create hassle-free solutions for our sellers.

In this role, your day-to-day mission will consist in providing the best platform to collect, enrich and expose data for our teams to make smarter and faster data-driven decisions.

The skills to succeed
Broadly speaking, we are mainly programming in Java and Python while our tech stack also comprises Kotlin, Airflow, Spark, Beam, and BigQuery. Besides, everything is hosted on Google Cloud Platform and our infrastructure is defined in Terraform (we are using both continuous integration and deployment).
With that in mind, we think that the following skills would greatly help you to be successful in this role:
Solid Software Engineering and Backend Development fundamentals.
Knowledge in one OOP language, preferably Java, Kotlin or Python.
Expertise with SQL and analytical databases such as BigQuery.
Familiarity with Data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam.
Know-how of Airflow or other workflow management platforms.
Experience working in Cloud environments (GCP or AWS).
