What you will be doing
For our data & analytics team in Sinch Operator division we are now looking for a Solutions Architect to help us continue developing and expanding our data & analytics solution.
In this role you will help to translate the business requirements into technical solutions and advise on how to best introduce new functionality and changes into the existing architectural landscape.
You will be a problem solver and an innovator that will have an important role in taking our data & analytics platform to the next level. You will be part of shaping and contributing to our product roadmap and will affect how Sinch Operator moves towards becoming a more data-driven organisation.
This is not an administrative architect-like position. It is a solution architect that requires hands-on technical knowledge and experience. Candidates must posses a strong technical skillset, as well as a desire to learn from others, teach others and pursue new technologies. You will be part of the Stockholm team and have colleagues working hybrid.
Responsibilities:
Will ensure the data & analytics product is architectured in a scalable and expandable way, which allows the product to evolve over time.
Will ensure the data & analytics product achieves its performance and other qualitative requirements.
Will work with all the various architectural layers of the product, from the data layer all the way up to the visualization layer.
You and the team will work together with product management to translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions and estimate efforts and risks.
Will help maintain synchronisation between the team's plans and reality.
Has a broad understanding of all the areas involved, from technical, through system to integration-related.
Has domain knowledge / business understanding - Advising and guiding the team on domain-related issues.
Collaborate cross functionally with product management, system deployment, managed services and support teams.
Coach, mentor, plan and transfer knowledge to colleagues.
In order to contribute to this role, we believe you have:
Experience building, dimensioning and deploying applications on hardware and in cloud infrastructures like AWS, GCP or Azure with appropriate operational insights.
Experience articulating design solutions through diagrams, documentation and verbally.
Strong skills in Kubernetes, including competence in deploying, running, testing and maintaining k8s.
Experience working with data warehousing.
Experience in Big Data technologies.
Experience architecting and working with ETL and/or ELT processes.
Experience with schema design and data modelling.
It's a plus if you have:
Experience in Clickhouse and Kafka.
Experience working in telecommunications.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
