The position will be located in Stockholm.
The position we offer
Counterparty & Financial Regulations IT is currently delivers technology solution for financial and counterparty reporting within Nordea. These solutions are part of the Nordea Common Data Warehouse. Here you will be a key player in delivering and maintaining the semantic layers for end reporting. Since these solutions are for regulatory initiatives, the expectations will be high on your ability to contribute.
We are working in a multinational environment with cross-border colleagues and outsourcing partners.
As a Senior Developer you will:
• Deliver advanced technical solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Have an engineering mind set and possess key knowledge about our technology systems.
• Design and code highly effective applications, applying outstanding technical competence to fulfil business and IT requirements, with regards to scalability, functional and non-functional requirements in order to ensure robustness and IT operational stability.
• Manage code quality and flexibility of systems and be the subject matter expert on our technology solutions.
• Demonstrate the ability to align overall Nordea technology strategy when developing operational technology systems.
You will work closely together with your colleagues as well as external partners to team up to efficiently develop new solutions and execute changes in existing systems.

Required professional qualifications:
• Broad experience in IT, including architecture and software development.
• 7-8 years of experience working with database/data warehouse solutions and related infrastructure components.
• You have a higher IT or engineering education.
• Experience in data modelling and coordinating development activities.
• Experience related to financial data model and preferable previous banking experience.
• Written and spoken English on professional level is required, since our business language is English.
• Experience in Teradata will be an advantage.
Competencies in building relationships and good communication skills are valued.
