Position Description
At the Analysis Service (AS) lab in Uppsala we analyse our customers' samples by using either qPCR or NGS readouts. The company is expanding rapidly, and we are now looking to hire an additional Data Manager to join a team of talented and highly skilled Quality Engineers, Sample Managers and Data Managers. You will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance AS.
The job of the Data Manager is to perform QC assessment of sample sets run on Olink panels by our Analysis Service Lab. Analysis is performed using Olink NPX Manager software. Data Managers also deliver approved data to Olink Customers and participate in creating Data Transfer Specification agreements. They work closely with both Analysis Service and Data Science teams.
Primary Responsibilities
• Support Analysis Service with document modifications
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to assure availability, accuracy and timeliness of data and information needed for customer projects with special focus on DTS.
• Be responsible for Special Data Transfers (DTSs) and contributing to the development of the internal DTS process. Set up scripts to generate data in format according to DTS.
• Generate test dataset and assure data transfer.
• Backup to Data coordinator in data delivery
• Support the team's goal of improving data delivery, analysis pipelines and reporting in customer projects.
• Work to set deadlines and ensure high quality on all aspects of the data analysis work.
• Act as an integral member of the project team, collaborate effectively with other team members and customers.
Qualifications / Skills
• MSc in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or similar.
• Relevant industry or academic experience of data analysis.
• Demonstrated strong ability to work across different teams and disciplines.
• Programming skills in R
• Documented experience of following work processes governed by SOPs.
• Documented experience of quality assurance.
• Experience of trouble shooting and data analysis in medical or biological research, especially with data from high throughput technologies in proteomics and genomics.

It is important to be able to solve technical or Data issues, customer or general problems independently and act as a resource for colleagues.
