Scania is on an exciting journey to implement a new System Landscape based on SAP, and we are looking for a dedicated Data Management Specialist to lead our Master Data initiatives for Sourcing & Procurement.
Responsibilities
As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Business Transformation, ensuring that our Purchasing department reaches new heights.
You will be responsible for planning activities and coordinating a cross-functional team of solution architects, bridging the gap between business and IT functions.
Lead master data initiatives within the purchasing domain.
Ensure vendor data migrated into SAP is cleansed and validated for optimal data quality.
Identify data owners, define business rules, and address data migration issues.
Drive the implementation of data governance rules and maintenance processes within the purchasing domain.
Develop and maintain data quality control procedures.
Audit data regularly to ensure data integrity.
Provide training and guidance to business users on master data management.
Develop process improvements for data management activities.
You
To be successful, you need experience and have advanced knowledge in SAP S4 HANA (transactions, data model, business processes), preferably business partner & FI objects.
Strong understanding of business processes and requirements from process streams and data management domains.
Comprehensive understanding of data flow from an end-to-end business perspective.
Experience in data quality management and master data management (especially data architecture & data governance).
Experience working in both Business & IT functions.
Strong business sense with an understanding of supplier and material data usage across the supply chain.
Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
